Morningside School Reunion Annual Banquet

Morningside, Race Street, and Alan D. Rutherford Schools will celebrate the classes that attended these school during the years of 1891 until 1968 and beyond. This year we are recognizing the class of 1973 at the Friday night and Sunday Banquet. We offer the opportunity to become a member of the Golden Tigers 100 Club for $100.00 to help deserving scholarship applicants. We have four days of activities lined up below:

Friday night 9/2: School students and friends; Meet and Greet at the Statesville Recreation Center at 5:30 until 8:30 pm

Saturday morning 9/2: Morningside parade starting at the old school building on Green Street at 9:00 am to line-up

Sunday evening 9/3: Annual Reunion and Scholarship Banquet at the Statesville Civic Center doors open at 5:30 pm cost is $40 a person

Friday 9/8: The annual Golf Tournament presented by Morningside and Unity School at River Oak Golf Club at 8:00 am until 5:00pm
