Statesville-based EnergyUnited Foundation recently donated $7,720 to Greater Vision Community Garden to support efforts to reduce food insecurity in the community by providing access to local, homegrown food. The garden is a part of the Greater Vision Outreach Ministry in Thomasville, a resource center overseen by Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina that helps community families with immediate needs while equipping them for long-term sustainability and success.
