Earth Day, traditionally celebrated on April 22nd since 1970, is a global initiative which seeks to raise awareness of environmental issues, as well as empower individuals to make changes in their daily lives that positively impact the environment. The Town of Davidson, Davidson Lands Conservancy, and Davidson College invite the community to enjoy a festival of Earth Day activities. The public is invited to take part in the event Saturday, April 22nd at the Davidson Town Green between 10am and 1pm.
