Dr. Charlitta Hatch, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) District 1 Representative and host of The Community Classroom on WSIC, joined Good Morning LKN to share practical ways families can prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, from resetting routines early to building stronger partnerships with teachers. She also discussed ways parents and community members can support local schools, including joining the PTA, donating classroom essentials, and staying engaged, while highlighting how growth across CMS District 1 is creating new conversations around school traffic and infrastructure.
