Queen City News is reporting that a DoorDash driver helped hold down a suspect who is accused of punching a 1-year-old baby boy in the face in South End, authorities said. The violent encounter occurred just after 11:30am on Sunday, June 4th, at the intersection of West Summit Avenue and South Tryon Street. The suspect, identified as Rico Williams, 26, struck the baby in the face with a closed fist, causing minor injuries, the police report stated.
