Derek Devos, founder of The PTSD: Peer-Led Trauma-Informed Support & Direction, joined us live from Richard’s Coffee Shop as we kicked off Mooresville’s Veterans Week Celebration. After serving nearly 16 years in the Air Force, Derek now helps fellow veterans navigate PTSD, reintegration, and the often overwhelming maze of benefits and resources. His new “Unite” space opening on Veterans Day will offer peer support groups, community connection, caregiver support, and a central hub for veterans to access jobs, education, and mental health resources—confidentially and without stigma.
