Democrats have lagged behind republicans in spending for the North Carolina U.S. Senate race, so yesterday they started running new ads criticizing GOP nominee Ted Budd for his views on abortion. Senate Majority PAC, aligned with Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said dems are spending over $4 million for the ad campaign over the next two weeks, which includes a TV commercial running in all major markets.
