Debbie O’Handley, Executive Director of Hope House Foundation, joined Good Morning LKN to share how the organization is supporting women and children experiencing housing insecurity across the Lake Norman area. With over a decade of leadership, Debbie described the mission as “holding hope” for families—providing not just shelter, but resources, accountability, and a path forward. She also highlighted the growing challenges nonprofits face today and the importance of community support, relationships, and mental health in this work
