Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and its partners are hosting a series of events March 18-25 to take a closer look “Into the Waters,” according to a CMSWS press release today.
There will be more than 20 educational and volunteer opportunities available for all ages including:
- Make a rain barrel
- Clean a stream near your neighborhood
- Spend a lunch hour volunteering
- Enjoy family story time with Stormy the Storm Water Turtle.
The week concludes with “The Big Spring Clean” on Saturday from 9 am to noon at a variety of creek locations for “a big, one-day cleanup event.”
