Cornelius Today is reporting that NC Rep. John Bradford, a Cornelius resident and former member of the Town Board, will run for North Carolina State Treasurer. The incumbent is Dale Folwell, who has announced plans to run for governor. Bradford, a Republican representing NC District 98, said his experience as Senior Chairman of the NC House Finance Committee will help bolster his chances of winning.
