More than 100 first responders from Lake Norman area law enforcement agencies were at Kings Point Marina last week for four days of lake enforcement training led by the Cornelius Police Department. Most of the exercises were designed to mimic real-life emergencies. Boating safety was the main focus on the first day, as was maneuvering around docks and in open water.
