Lake Norman Media Group is reporting that the Mooresville Town Board’s unanimous April 10th vote to explore the feasibility of a development moratorium was not rash, unexpected or linked to any recent project ruling. It was the expected next step stemming from months of meeting discussions about growth patterns in and around town, highlighted by Commissioner Gary West’s proposed motion at the board’s February retreat that raised the temperature on the simmering issue.
