WNCN is reporting that a child was hit by a car in in northeast Raleigh just after 10pm Friday, the NC Highway Patrol said. The child suffered injuries but officials did not say how serious the injuries were. The driver of the car remained at the scene after the wreck, troopers said. At least six law enforcement officers were at the scene and one direction of traffic on Buffaloe Road was closed. No word yet on the condition of the child.
