CATS…A Hot Mess!

Axios Charlotte’s Alexandria Sands is reporting lots of issues with the Charlotte Area Transit System. She says that needed improvements include 37 light rail bridges, six parking decks are overdue for inspection. She adds that about 100 buses are past replacement age—and that more than half are three years overdue. It will take nearly two years to fix the problems…and the cost? a cool $30 million!
