Cadette Girl Scout Troop 3270 from the Hornets’ Nest Council joined Good Morning LKN to share the story behind their Silver Award–winning community project. Zoe, Sophia, and Caroline helped create a “Kids Corner” at Heartstrings, a program through Children’s Hope Alliance that offers music and art therapy for children and families. The troop collected more than 750 books, games, and craft supplies to create a space where siblings can relax and play while therapy sessions take place. Their project highlights the leadership, service, and teamwork that Girl Scouts develop while making a positive impact in the Lake Norman community.
