Byron Allison, Manufacturing Specialist at Purple Heart Homes, joined Good Morning LKN live from the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to take us behind the scenes of the Veteran Home Build. He shares how the Statesville-based team prepared to construct a custom modular home in just days, from framing and roofing to coordinating materials, volunteers, sponsors, and the logistics required to eventually transport the completed home to Glasgow, Virginia. Byron also reflects on the honor of using his construction experience to serve veterans and why donors, sponsors, and community support are essential to the mission of Purple Heart Homes.
