The Burlington Police Department said in a news release that officers responding to a call on the city’s north side found Jaquan Lennel Boyd, 28, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police pronounced Boyd dead at the scene, the news release said. On Wednesday, police identified a suspect and arrested the 15-year-old, whose name wasn’t released because of his age. He is charged with first-degree murder and is in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice, police said.
