Brad McMillan and Josh Kiser of the Ada Jenkins Center joined Good Morning LKN at The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen to discuss the growing needs facing families across North Mecklenburg and the many ways the nonprofit provides support. From its food pantry and critical financial assistance to after-school education, social services, and asset-building programs, the center works to meet immediate challenges while helping families build greater stability.
They also share how volunteers, local businesses, fundraising, and community involvement help sustain that mission, especially as demand for food assistance has increased. Find ways to volunteer, donate, or support the Ada Jenkins Center at adajenkins.org.
