Cornelius Today is reporting that the step-father of 11-year-old Madalina Cojocari, Christopher Palmiter, age 60, was arrested early Saturday morning for failure to report the disappearance of a child. Just hours later, the missing child’s mother, 37-year-old Diana Cojocari was also arrested under the same charges. Madalina was last seen in Cornelius on November 23rd. Cornelius Police, with help from the SBI and FBI, are still looking for Madalina. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the CPD at 704-892-7773.
