At an event in Greensboro, North Carolina yesterday, the state’s governor, Roy Cooper, and the president of Boom Supersonic, Kathy Savitt, announced that they planned to open an “Overture Superfactory” at the Piedmont Triad International Airport. Cooper says the endeavor will create 1,761 new, good-paying jobs in the triangle area.
