On March 21st, eleven board members from both BlueCross BlueShield of NC (BCBSNC) and EducationNC (EdNC) visited the Boys & Girls Club of the Piedmont (BGCP) for a roundtable discussion centered on the communities of Iredell County and their collaboration to provide their citizens access to safe housing, nutritious foods, medicine, education, and resources which they consider to be the core drives of health. This was their most recent stop on their Extra Miles Tour, BCBCNC’s concerted effort to meet with community leaders in each of the 100 counties that comprise North Carolina.
