Cornelius Today is reporting that the Daytona 500 this weekend will kick off the lineup of games, series and tournaments being shown on the 10-foot 18-foot LED screen at Birkdale Village. Screenings are free for all visitors and seating is open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. The screen went dark while the ice skating took center stage. Ice skating ended January 16th. The screen will stay lit through October.
