Cornelius Today is reporting that Big Day at the Lake will be back this July 22nd this year. The event has a full day of fun planned for kids in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas. Big Day at the Lake, which consists entirely of volunteers in and around Lake Norman, has three goals: Provide a full day of fun on the lake for children who would not otherwise experience the lake, recruit “Bigs” or mentors for at-risk children in BBBS and raise money for a proven non-profit that focuses on at-risk children.
