Charlotte based Akoustis Technologies, Inc., an integrated device manufacturer of patented bulk acoustic wave high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced yesterday that it has signed a statement-of-work development order from a leading tier-1 RF module maker and filter provider for a new 5G mobile filter. The filters will be made at the company’s Canandaigua, New York manufacturing facility.
