Akoustis Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKTS) (“Akoustis” or the “Company”), an integrated device manufacturer (IDM) of patented bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced that it has received two design wins for Wi-Fi 6E XBAW® filter products for the gaming market. Both design wins are for products that are expected to go into production by mid-calendar 2023. One of the design wins is for a specialized gaming router, using a multiple-user-multiple-in-multiple-out (MU-MIMO) architecture. The other design win is for a leading end-user gaming platform that will use Wi-Fi 6E connectivity to enhance data-throughput speed and provide lower latency than current generation products.
