A no swimming advisory continues for Knox Cove in Cornelius after 460 gallons of sewage spilled due to a damaged pipe on Torrence Chapel Estates Circle on Saturday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services. The damage was caused by a private contractor while performing horizontal drilling. CMSWS says the no swim advisory will likely be lifted later this week.
