The Town of Huntersville will host its annual Town Tree Lighting and “A Huntersville Christmas” event at Veterans Park this weekend and will temporarily close Maxwell Avenue between Old Statesville Road (NC 115) and Huntersville-Concord Road and Main Street between Bigham Street and Huntersville-Concord Road during the festivities on Friday, December 2nd, from 4-10pm and Saturday, December 3rd, from 11:30am -9:30pm.
