The Statesville Police Department responded to a call for shots fired on Inglewood Road at approximately 2:08am this morning. Upon arrival, officers located a 16 year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem for treatment.
