WNCN is reporting that the victim of a stabbing at a downtown Raleigh supermarket died Saturday afternoon, according to Raleigh police. Officials say 27-year-old Mark Garrity Jr. died from being stabbed multiple times inside Taz’s Supermarket at 207 South Wilmington Street. They said he was stabbed Thursday just after 3:30pm. Police worked for seven hours after the stabbing trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
