The Statesville Police Department is looking for a man who robbed First Horizon Bank yesterday. Police say 46-year-old Kelvin Simmons walked into the bank with a lunch box and handed a note to the teller stating that he had a gun and demanded money. After the cash was handed to him, he fled the scene in a 2013 Hundai Sante Fe vehicle with NC license plate TMR-8978. Anyone who has seen Simmons or the vehicle is asked to call SPD at 704-878-3406.
