Two people from Myrtle Beach were killed in a car accident in North Carolina yesterday as winter weather created challenging road conditions, North Carolina State Highway Patrol said. The crash happened on Interstate 95 near mile marker 132 in Nash County just before 9:30 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol. A blue Honda CRV was moving southbound on the highway when it drove off the road, hitting several trees in the median.
