Toyota Bringing 1,750 New Jobs to NC

Published Date: January 7, 2022

This week Toyota announced plans to build their first US battery plant right here in North Carolina. The new $1.29 billion facility will be located on a megasite in Liberty, about 80 miles northeast of Charlotte. According to press release from the NC Commerce Department, the new facility will create at least 1,750 new jobs with an average salary of $62,234.
