Thousands Pass Through Charlotte Douglas International Airport During Holiday Weekend

WBTV is reporting that more than 24,000 people passed through security checkpoints yesterday for the Labor Day holiday at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. For travelers, the thought of COVID-19 and the pandemic crossed their minds, but most that WBTV spoke to said they still felt safe. Others say they noticed how packed the airport was for the holiday. Those travelers are also expected to increase the demand for COVID testing.
