Rowan County Commissioner on DWI arrest: “You don’t know who you’re messing with”

Police body cam video recently released by a judge, shows Rowan County Commissioner Craig Pierce being stopped at 7:23 on June 27th under the suspicion of driving while impaired. The officer said in his report that Pierce admitted to drinking, could not complete the roadside test, and was described as “belligerent.” Investigators told Pierce he blew .27 on the breath alcohol test. Pierce was arrested and charged with DWI.
