Prices in North Carolina are 22.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 36.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 5.1 cents in the last week and stands at $4.88 per gallon. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in North Carolina was priced at $2.92/g yesterday, still nearly a dollar more than $2/g under President Trump.
