Charlotte Stories is reporting that singing shows are now an American cultural staple. Staring with American Idol more than twenty years ago, the televised talent competition has become a genre of its own. Tallying up all wins from American Idol, The Voice, and America’s Got Talent, North Carolina comes in 2nd in the nation—tied with New York—behind 1st place Texas for most wins.
