Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott is making a $13.5 million donation to Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region in order to make affordable homeownership a reality for scores of Charlotte region families. The investment will kick-start the affiliate’s recently minted strategic plan that aims to speed up transformation and intensify the impact of its affordable homeownership and home repair mission.
