The Local Government Commission (LGC) meets today at UNC-Wilmington. The meeting is part of state Treasurer Dale Folwell’s and other members of the LGC’s desire to highlight the work of the commission, and its impact on local governments, by bringing the LGC to the people outside of Raleigh. Among the items to be considered are $175 million for the Asheville Regional Airport.
