ICSO: Mooresville man arrested on outstanding felony drug warrants

Offense(s)/Charge(s): Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Possession, Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Transport, Felony Possession with Intent to Sale or Deliver a Schedule II, Controlled Substance (Oxycodone Hydrochloride), Felony Maintain a Vehicle for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Adderall), Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Location of Incident: Coddle Creek Highway and Fourtrax Drive, Mooresville.

 

Suspect(s): Trent Rashod Mangum, 24 Years Old

                   142 Wellshire Street

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Monday, October 25, 2021, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Deputy C. Little conducteda traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Coddle Creek Highway and Fourtrax Drive, south of Mooresville, based on the vehicle operator being a wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.

 

After approaching the vehicle, Deputy Little spoke with Trent Rashod Mangum. After informing Mangum about his outstanding arrest warrants, Deputy Little searched the suspect. A pill bottle was located on Mangum. Inside the pill bottle were dosage units of Oxycodone Hydrochloride, Adderall, and Alprazolam. Deputies then searched the vehicle and located Marijuana, and other items of drug paraphernalia.

 

Mangum was taken to the Iredell County Detention Centerwhere he was charged with: Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Possession, Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Transport, Felony Possession With Intent to Sale or Deliver aSchedule II Controlled Substance (Oxycodone Hydrochloride), Felony Maintain a Vehicle for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Adderall), Misdemeanor Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. Magistrate T. Thompson issued a 200,000.00 dollar secured bond on those charges. 

 

Mangum was also served with the following outstandingwarrants from Cabarrus County: Felony Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Possession, Felony Possession With Intent to Sale or Deliver a Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), Felony Possession With Intent to Sale or Deliver a Schedule IControlled Substance (Ecstasy), Misdemeanor Maintain a Vehicle for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Magistrate T. Thompson issued an additional 150,000.00 dollars secured bond on those charges.
