SUMMARY:14th Annual Timmy Belcher Memorial Rainbow Kidz Ride & Run
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 14th Annual Timmy Belcher Memorial Rainbow Kidz Ride & Run!! This event includes a 5K\, 10K and 35mi/60mii cycling routes for cycling enthusiasts\, as well as a FUN RUN for kids. There is also a virtual option for those who prefer to participate at their own convenience! The event will begin and end at the Statesville Family YMCA (828 Wesley Drive\, Statesville\, NC). \nThis is a signature fundraiser for Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County’s Rainbow Kidz. Our pediatric grief program\, Rainbow Kidz has served children in Iredell County since 2005. This program is offered at no cost to children\, families\, and the community. The program is offering two full weeks of summer grief camp\, school grief groups available to all schools in Iredell County\, and one-on-one counseling provided by three specially trained Licensed Clinical Social Workers and a group of devoted volunteers. The program has also been formalized with an evidence-based grief curriculum with a stronger focus on grief education\, social support\, and teaching healthy coping skills. \nPACKET PICKUP WILL BE FRIDAY\, MAY 3\, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Red Buffalo Brewing Company in downtown Statesville! Packets may also be picked up on race day\, SATURDAY\, MAY 4\, from 6:45-7:45 a.m. Same day registration will be available for $35. \n*Register by April 19th to ensure you receive an event t-shirt!*
