David Judge, Chairman of Cornelius Early Scholars, joined Good Morning LKN to share how the nonprofit Christian preschool is expanding access to early childhood education for Lake Norman families facing financial barriers. Since launching in 2023 with 16 students, the program has grown to 32 children and combines academic preparation, faith, and parental involvement while connecting families with resources that address challenges beyond the classroom.

Judge also shared the progress students are making toward kindergarten readiness and why supporting the entire family can help change a child’s educational trajectory. Learn more, enroll, volunteer, or support Cornelius Early Scholars at corneliusearlyscholars.org.
