As the last full week of early voting gets under way at seven Mecklenburg locations, Cornelius Town Hall is tops in votes cast county-wide. Early voting began October 18th at the Mecklenburg Board of Elections office. As of yesterday afternoon, a total of 560 people had cast their ballots at Town Hall, with the Davidson Public Library running second in terms of total voters, with 517. Early voting opens at 10 am and closes at 7 pm today through Friday of this week.
