Community Blessing Box Vandalized in Concord

WBTV is reporting that a blessing box that was set up on Union Street in downtown Concord in 2020 as part of a local boy’s Eagle Scout project was vandalized last weekend. The Rotary Square box will remain closed until it can be repaired. 1CAN founder Sheryl Kluge posted on the organization’s Facebook page that that surveillance video disclosed the identity of the person who damaged the box, but that no charges would be filed.
