Charlotte Fire will add an electric fire truck to its fleet, saving 19.66 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually. The REV Vector Electric Fire Truck packs 316 kW of proven automotive-grade batteries to deliver the longest electric pumping duration in the industry. The fire truck will be part of the new plan for Charlotte’s first all-electric firehouse which will be located at 3019 Beam Road. Construction for the new 14,000 square foot facility will start in the first quarter of 2024.
