Cabarrus County Fair Called Off Due to Covid Concerns

Lake Norman Business Today is reporting that for only the second time in 68 years, the Cabarrus County Fair, scheduled for September 10th through the 18th, has been cancelled. County officials blame low vaccination rates and community spread of COVID-19. The decision was made with input from public health and emergency management officials. Up to 80,000 people normally attend the fair over a nine-day span.
