Brandy Sims, Founder and CEO of Elizabeth House Foundation, joined Good Morning LKN to share the powerful story behind her mission to expand access to life-saving mammograms. Inspired by the loss of her mother to breast cancer, Brandy is working across Lake Norman and surrounding communities to remove barriers like cost, transportation, and awareness—reminding us that “knowledge is key” and early detection saves lives. Through mobile screening events and community partnerships, the foundation has already helped hundreds of underserved women receive critical care.
